Remember hearing those rumors in Vivec about the
maze under the puzzle palace filled with Daedra and
great treasures.....then being dissappointed at
finding only a Dremora Lord and some dink silver
swords? Use this mod, and you won't be dissappointed
anymore.

I finally finished this mod and I give it an
unqualified thumbs up for every Morrowind player.

Every aspect of the mod is well executed: The maze(s),
the puzzles, the daedra (yes, there are beings besides
Golden Saints, Ascended Sleepers, Almelexia and Vivec
that can be soultrapped to give constant effect
items), the artifacts. You will need a higher level
character to get through this one. I started at level
15 and finished at level 21--but I died a few times
and had to resort to a save game. And that was after
getting prepared for some tough fights.

The visuals use standard meshes, but are very well
executed--especially the lighting. The lighting is
well thought out and impressive. If you use huge
Nighteyes, back them off a bit occasionally in this
mod to see the beauty of the lighting.

The puzzles are also well executed and well thought out.
If you get really stuck, the author provides a hint file for
some of the tougher parts. I didn't need the hint file
(and recommend not using it), but it did take me a while
to make forward progress in a few places. In some cases,
there are clues to help you (read any notes you find
carefully).

The artifacts you find are comparable to the better
artifacts you find elsewhere in the game....but the best
of them are nicer. They are not quite uberweapons, but
are definitely nice weapons. (Lilacore remains
undisplaced.)

The mod is well thought out and a lot of fun to play.
You should have a high level character before starting it.
And it wouldn't hurt to have a supply of Grand Soul gems
with you. Or other soul gems if you are in to trapping
Daedra souls. There are a LOT of daedra souls available
for capture in the Puzzle Canal.

The mod is unlikely to interfere with other mods because
it uses standard meshes and the location is the bottom
of the Puzzle Palace.

The mod should not interfere with low level characters making the
pilgrimage. To enter the mod area, you have to go to the fifth level
of the canal; the shrine entrance is at the third level. There is a
dead body with a note of warning at the entrance to the 5th level (mod)
area that should warn off low level characters.

Does this mod interfere in any way with the shrine? In other words, with
this mod installed, is it still safe for a low level character to make the
temple pilgrimage?
