[citation][nom]mlopinto2k1[/nom]Um, do you fucktards realize that you are bashing a multi-million dollar icon? I smell the faint odor of assholes and jealousy. Besides, he's a pretty good actor. Get over it.[/citation]
LOL, money can't buy everything like a good personality or a brain.

[citation][nom]Kill@dor[/nom]You can't compare 50 cent and Paris...thats just not right. He may acutally be richer than Paris...but even so i admire the fact that he is a smart business man. He is making money in so many other avenues that many rappers ignore. If you read about him a some you might be surprised at how smart he really is...Before someone dings my comment, no i'm not a fan of 50 and not defending him or anything. I just know some facts about him...[/citation]

eh.. you're overlooking the point... wot does his monetary worth have to do with him being an 'icon'... marketing can sell anything to anyone in a big enough volume to make someone rich... does that make them an 'icon'?

50 does more damage to the english language than dubya did and i wonder if people that think he's a 'great rapper' think he is from all his hits since they're mostly all dance and pop songs... In Da Club is just him repeating the same chorus verse over and over again and it was one of his biggest hits... what does that say about his 'rapping ability'?

at either rate... what does his 'skill' as a rapper or monetary worth have to do with being used in a war game? how does his voice being used help this game at all?

Not really a 50 cent fan, but one thing he isn't is a 'wannabe gangster". The man's been shot multiple times.

Anyhow, this has no real bearing on the game other than you will hear 50s gritty voice every once in a while, and you might not have notice if it wasn't for reading this.

so has plaxico burress... is he a gangster too?

i think you loose all legitimacy, as a gangster, when you decide to be an entertainer... even if you try to live out the life you had before, you'll end up selling out sometime... the idea that these 'rappers' have to portray themselves as thugs or outlaws to sell records goes to show their listening demographic don't have a lot of brain cells worth being proud of..

The fact Its only his voice, a lot of you are over hauling it. His music is great, i could care less if he killed someone. Not my problem. Like everyone has said, if they had not mentioned this most likely no one, not even myself who actually likes 50 cents music would be able to pick up the fact that it was 50 cents voice. And no one wants a bunch of stupid asses from Iraq or Afghanistan to do voices in a video game. They all would not meet the requirements to be a voice over in a game for a character. Enough said.

Try using Keifer Sutherland like they did in COD5, he just has the voice for it. If the soldiers were willing, it would be better, and it would be more of a tribute, rather than just using someone who's already an icon.

LOL, man people are ignorant. It's funny that the people that bash him are the ones that are causing the problems. If they said Michael Jackson was doing voice overs everyone would find a problem with that too. Let's see, WHAT VOICES WOULD EVERYONE LIKE TO HEAR? Hmm? This ought be interesting...

[citation][nom]RADIO_ACTIVE[/nom]I would like to use my own voice in the character I am playing.[/citation]Who cares? ^_^

[citation][nom]norbs[/nom]"Pew Pew Pew, Die Kanye!"[/citation]
"I'm NOT a gay fish!"

Haha, that's the first thing I think of every time I hear his name now.

If they want to make the game all "gangsta", they should just change the title to "Modern Welfare".

Love his music, not bad Idea for promoting the game. Just hope there is some more well known actors and rappers.

[citation][nom]theholylancer[/nom]Can we get some real heros from Iraq/Afghanistan to voice this instead of wana-be gangsters?[/citation]
Real heroes never went there ; real heroes are smarter.

He doesn't need the $ and we dont need more games budget resources eaten up by over paid famous actors/musicans, how about paying some other talented person to do it( who needs the money and doesn't charge to much).

Agree. Or at least R Lee Ermy. He would be the best leader EVER in a military video game.

I think it might have more to do with the fact that we dislike rap, which promotes drug habits and treating women like cattle. But maybe I'm wrong...
