I've got a modern AMD build encountering a weird issue and I can't get to the root of them so far

The PC runs normally. I can game on it, browse websites, perform normal computer interactions.

But occasionally the entire PC will freeze and become unresponsive. RGBs. Apps. Sounds. Windows OS itself. All of them will hang/go unresponsive.

But not all at once. I'll notice it first when a webpage doesn't load or clicking a link doesn't do anything.
After that Windows itself will unresponsive, and functionality like Alt+Tab or pressing the Windows key to bring up the start menu will only work for another few seconds. Typing no longer works.
After that? sound stops, no matter what was playing. That's always the last one.
By now the PC is hanging and nothing works except the mouse. I can move it around the screen but clicking things no longer does anything.

It doesn't happen during games. Only during internet browsing or streaming video/audio.

It had gotten better for a while, but a recent BIOS update in preparation for a 5800X3D has worsened the problem. Rolling back the BIOS to the last good revision and then reloading the previous settings has done nothing to abate this issue.

I'm at wits end. Maybe it's a motherboard issue? Maybe it's Windows? Maybe it's my Boot drive? Nothing reports any issues and stress
A window reinstall solved the issue temporarily but it has slowly resurfaced. Now I'm getting 2 or 3 hanging events in an hour.

As for the actual build:

AMD Ryzen 5600X
48 GB (16+16+8+8) DDR4 RAM set at 3200Mhz
MPG X570 GAMING PRO CARBON WIFI
AMD Radeon 6800 XT
SN 850 1TB
SN 550 2 TB
Corsair CX750F

I've turned off all CPU overclocking including PBO, to no avail.
I can provide the exact Windows build and BIOS revision (1.H0) shortly.

Mind sharing how you got to this ram load out? Do you regain stability if you remove the smaller capacity ram sticks?

Running those two kits together. Even though they're both rated for 3600 MHz, I know how difficult it is running 4 sticks at once. As expected Windows refused to POST at the rated speed so i bumped it down to 3200MHz while running them together. They POST at least.

I had the same idea you did after i posted my topic so I removed the smaller kit (2x8GB) and just ran the 2x16GB kit. This did not solve the problem and i am now typing this response from my phone because the PC is too unstable to successfully reply.
