Hi!
I bought a Gigabyte P1000GM and I need to power up four RX 580 (six pins) and four Risers (also six pins) ATM.
I bought a pair of 16AWG 6 to 6+2 PCI-e cables. The thing is that this Modular PSU has 8 pin PCI-e slots, not 6 as the cable I purchased.
The question is. Is it safe to plug the 6+2 end in the psu or plugging the 6 pin end in the PSU (leaving 2 unused pins in one slot)?
Keep in mind that the gpus, as well as the risers, both have 6 pin slots for power
Thanks!
