Here's my config.
Processor - AMD FX-8370
Mobo - Gigabyte GA-970A-ds3p (Rev. 2)
Graphics Card - Asus Radeon RX 460 OC 4GB
RAM - Irvin 8GBX2 (New, a month old)
One SSD (WD)
One HDD (WD)
PSU - Corsair VS550

So, the issue is (I started facing it from yesterday, suddenly) when I start a game or start a graphics card stress test like FunMark or Heaven Batchmark 4.0, I get a black screen.
My CPU is still on. the only option for me is to shutdown manually and turn on the PC again.

I am from India and currently we have a Monsoon Season. It is raining.
So, I cleaned my PC again.
  • Cleaned the RAMS and the slots with IPA.
  • Cleaned the graphics card with IPA.
  • Blower out the dust.

Still same problem.

Note: I am getting "Kernel-Power" error from last few months. First, I never noticed it. Then PC started to Crash mid game.
I bought new RAM recently and everything was running smoothly.

I have already applied all the solution for Kernel-Power error. Fortunately, the PC was not crashing after new RAM.

Now this started happening.

I don't know what the issue is. If it is Hardware or Software.

Well, you can do basic checks in the BIOS to see if the voltages are in range. Anything grossly above or below the specified ranges would likely prevent the system from starting.

Supply (V)ToleranceRange, min. to max. (V)Ripple, p. to p., max. (mV)
+5±5% (±0.25 V)+4.75 V to +5.2550
−5±10% (±0.50 V)−4.50 V to −5.5050
+12±5% (±0.60 V)+11.40 V to +12.60120
−12±10% (±1.20 V)−10.80 V to −13.20120
+3.3±5% (±0.165 V)+3.135 V to +3.46550
+5 standby±5% (±0.25 V)+4.75 V to +5.2550

You can also monitor these under load using tools like Hardware Monitor. If you see dips in the voltage that persist when the system is under load, particularly the 12V, that is a good sign that the PSU has a problem.

But, beyond that, nope, testing equipment for a PSU is highly specialized.

As long as the system remains functional while under those dips

Thank you for sharing this solution.

I checked the BIOS. IT was not showing all volts; however, it was showing " +3.3, +5, +12".

Those all were in range. This is making me more confused.

I purchased a PSU tester from amazon. It was fairly pocket friendly.
I will receive it tomorrow and update my readings tomorrow.

Now, this is really confusing!

I checked the PSU with PSU tester.

Every voltage is in range. I am not getting any warning Beep sounds from the Tester.
Error Images

I have attached pics of the tester. "24 Pin connected" "6 Pin connected"

Please guide me in this! I am really frustrated
