Monitor goes black?

i have 3 monitors a gtx 780 and all of the sudden it my left most monitor goes black and is still on i assume its not the cord because i see it in properties any ideas also when i go to turn off and on it flashes check cables as it always does then goes black.

yes . also when i change display settings the monitor will show my desktop for a few seconds i think its just dying ;(
im not for sure.

it could do have a laptop around or another old system even a friend computer that you could plug in this monitor to confirm that him and not the gpu .

i will give it a try and if it was the gpu wouldn't my other 2 monitors go with it?

it could be only one the part of this connector on the gpu that why you may have to test each monitor on this connector and maybe use only 2 monitor at the time for test without using this connector .
