[SOLVED] Monitor loses signal when moved ?

Hi all,

I have two monitors connected to a 3080 via two DisplayPort cables. Recently, whenever I move the cable the signal to my monitor is lost. Also, it's strange because whenever I plug and unplug the cable to my GPU, I sometimes need to do it a couple of times before the monitors are recognised. This I THINK started happening when I downsized my PC. My PSU is a SF750 and motherboard X570 Tomahawk -> B550I Aorus.

Replace the DP cable(s) with new ones ?

I don't have one at hand, I'll try that out tomorrow, hope it's not problems with my GPU ports

Check with a new cable. If not working then get your monitor checked. Maybe the HDMI port in your monitor is faulty or loose and hence, on moving the HDMI cable gets disconnected from the port slightly. And yes, the same thing can happen in the ports of the GPU so get that checked also.
