Hello everyone.

My monitor (gigabyte G27Q) is almost 3 months old now and after a month of buying it and the warranty expiring it started to have a problem where when I have my pc on It detects the monitor but when i turn on the monitor the backlight is on but to display a picture it takes almost 9 or 10 minutes, Any idea of what might be the problem? I tried my old laptop's charger but it was too thin for it.

i tried contacting gigabyte but their service center is too far from me, That it will take around half of the cost of the monitor itself just to get it to them.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for this. But I forgot to say that my order was international (Saudi Arabia). I tried to contact newegg about this and they said that neither them nor gigabyte have warranty for my monitor. but i have stumbled across this page from gigabyte which is in the global section https://member.aorus.com/global/productwarranty so does that mean my monitor has the warranty in it or not? Thanks again
Gigabyte is the ONLY entity that can work with the warranty.
Whatever they say, goes.

test the monitor on another working pc?
i used the display port that came with it and hooked it to my pc but then I got a ps4 and used and hdmi for it but it only displayed the sound and the backlight is on, also when I left my pc on for an hour and came back it took 20 minutes and didn't display anything

Why is the warranty expired? Most monitors have a year warranty. Sounds like your cpacitors/power module are going. Did you buy it new or used?
well I don't know why to be honest but I bought it from newegg so its supposed to be new, when I contacted gigabyte support they said its already expired since the warranty is from newegg

i can also hear the sounds from it and I can use the OSD without seeing it. i tried to update my bios and get other displayports and hdmi's and update the monitor's firmware too but no luck
