Question Monitor won't display anything ?

So, last night my PC was working fine then when I go to turn it on today it doesn't display anything on the monitor. I have been able to connect Bluetooth headphones to the PC and can hear my wallpaper playing music but the monitor refuses to display anything.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

can you select sources in the monitor´s OSD settings?
all cables still tightly connected to monitor and PC?

Have you tried reseating the dp/hdmi cable entirely? (Taking it out completely and putting it back)

I've tried choosing the correct source on the monitor multiple times and it has no effect. I have also unplugged and replugged the monitors and PCs wires which hasn't changed anything.

No I only have a single GPU without integrated video

sorry to ask, but to be sure:
are you sure it's connected to the gpu and not the motherboard?
disconnect the gpu and put it back again
try different video cables, ports and display port cable
try a different monitor
