Hi,
I had League on one screen and Black Desert Online on the other screen and suddenly both of my monitors shut down. The system was on - I could hear the game sounds and voice chats but displays were off so I had to reboot. When I hurriedly rebooted, my resolution was a mess, only one monitor was on, and I was barely getting 10fps on League.
I rebooted again and everything turned back to normal.
I've been playing BDO on highest setting during queue time and put it to low spec mode while I'm playing league. It was fine for a few hours or so until this happened. I'm guessing the problem is with an overheated gpu. I think my tower has bad ventilation and I only have the essentials when it comes to fans. I'm using a stock cooler for cpu but going to switch to Hyper Evo 212 soon.
Please help. Should I stop running two intensive games simultaneously?
What are some possible causes of the shut downs? Thanks.
My spec:
Z370 Gaming Plus Mobo
GTX 1070
i5-8400
DDR 4 Ram 16g
250g V-Nand SSD
