Montego II and W2k

I know Turtle Beach says they aren't supporting the Montego II Quadzilla under W2k, and there is a known issue that it won't work under W2k with a 133fsb, but has anyone found a workaround? I would hate to spend more money on another soundcard because Turtle Beach refuses to support it.

Damn! OK, nobody ever finished the Vortex2 drivers for Win2k. In fact, guys who have posted their own version have had their website shut down. This is because Creative bought the rights to the drivers, in hopes of cutting off supply, forcing users to switch to a Creative product. But Microsoft already OWNED a licence to the drivers and has published their own version for XP. If you could install the card in XP and copy all the necessary files to a disk, you might be able to use that disk for a Win2k installation. Otherwise upgrade to Windows 98SE or downgrade to WinXP.
