More than 255 devices on my network

Hi,

I have a network that will soon need more than 255 IP addresses. I am just wondering what's my best option.

We are using Windows and have DHCP for the office.
Right now the office is using IP in the 192.168.0.0/24 range. We have production servers hosted externally and we have a VPN established with the data center. We access the production servers with IP in the range 192.168.2.0/24.

I guess the easiest way to expand my range would be to use 192.168.0.0/16 but then what about 192.168.2.0/24?

What's your suggestion? How do I setup DHCP?

Need to setup subnets. You can't just change IPs, the two IP ranges won't talk to each other.

The next step up from 254 would be 510 addresses with a 23 bit subnet mask of 255.255.254.0. This would give you a range of 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.1.255. Take a look at this subnet calculator http://www.subnet-calculator.com/cidr.php
