Hey guys I am making a new gaming rig and have decided to go with

Mother Board- GIGABYTE GA-MA790GP-UD4H AM2+/AM2 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128384&Tpk=GIGABYTE%20GA-MA790GP-UD4H%20AM2%2b%2fAM2%20AMD%20790GX%20HDMI%20A

Now it states in specifications:
Supported CPU
CPU Socket Type AM2+/AM2
CPU Type Phenom FX / Phenom / Athlon 64 FX / Athlon 64 X2
FSB 2600MHz Hyper Transport (5200 MT/s)

The CPU I plan to get is AMD Phenom II X4 940 Deneb 3.0GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+ 125W Quad-Core Black Edition Processor - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103471

Now my question is, are these two pieces of hardware compatible with each other? If it is not, or you have any other better suggestions for a motherboard please advise.

Thanks a lot for your advice in advance.
