Hi I hope you are all doing well , I was planning to Build AM5 PC but it turned out very expensive and I'm not ready for it's price . so I thought of replacing my current CPU and motherboard to get a little boost till I get ready for a full upgrade .

My current PC components are :

Motherboard : Asus Prime B450m-K
Processor : Ryzen 5 3600
GPU : RTX 2060 Ti SUPER MINI
Ram : G.Skill RipJaws 5 Series Noir 16Go (2x 8Go) DDR4 3600 MHz CL18
PSU : Corsair RM750x 80PLUS Gold 750W
Storage : Samsung SSD 980 M.2 PCIe NVMe 1TB and 1 sata 1TB

So I wanted to replace the Current motherboard and CPU by MSI B550M PRO-VDH and AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (3.0 GHz / 4.1 GHz) Tray
and get DeepCool AK620 because I have only stock cooler at the moment .
This replacement will cost me 450 USD in total .

I don't know where else to ask ,I need your help to make the right decision , Thank you for your time .

Out of interest how much more would it cost to get something like a ryzen 7600, ASRock B650M-HDV/M.2 and 32gb 6000 RAM?

In the UK I can get this for £415 which would probably be the option I would go for. The cpu cooler comes with the cpu and the future options are significantly better should you want to upgrade down the road.

Worth a look

for a Decent AM5 Build here in Morocco it would cost 1600 USD [ Mobo alone would Cost 400 USD - CPU 400 - Ram DDR5 150 etc... ] and I'm not ready to switch to that kind of build . that's why i'm trying to make little upgrades till I get ready

I would likely go with the 5700x3d and a good downdraft cooler as Eximo mentioned. Keep an eye on temps as you go initially and if the current MB is holding up you have saved some money.

If the MB is throttling then you can invest in a B550 down the line

Oh, that's nice! I like it.
I forget who made the other product that had a fan on the CPU block housing, there might be two other ones out there. That trend to put a screen there seems to have supplanted that concept.

One thing I like to do is flip my rear fan to intake so that it blows over the VRMs when I use a water block on the CPU. Only works well if you have top exhaust as well though.

The Ryzen 3600 is VERY competent for gaming still, unless you wanna push over 120fps. I have a 7800x3D and my secondary rig has a 5600, but before that it was a 3600. And they're both awesome for gaming. So if your primary goal is improving ur gaming experience, get a better graphics card and that's it.

Maybe you can get like a RTX 3080 for a good price on the used market. Pretty beefy card still. Or the 3080ti for more performance and 2more gigs of vram....

IF my money is tight & you want some degree of "future proofing". AM5 is the way to go, you could get an A620 board, a Ryzen 5 7600, heck you could even get an 8000 series for cheaper like the 8500G & a cheap kit of 32GB ram or even a 16GB kit for the time being.
The price competitiveness of DDR4 V DDR5 RAM is a very real thing nowadays, shop around you'll be surprised. There are A620 boards that are as cheap as B550 boards. MSI make a B650 board for 10 bucks more than an A620, so there is something to think about with a little research.

So should I just get the new motherboard and a cheaper cooler?
Your setup is still solid, especially with the RTX 2060 Ti Super. Upgrading to the Ryzen 7 5700X3D and B550M motherboard will give you a noticeable boost, particularly in CPU-intensive tasks and games. The DeepCool AK620 is also a great cooler, much better than the stock one.

If you're planning a bigger upgrade in the future, this is a reasonable interim solution. However, if you're not in a rush and can hold out, saving for the AM5 platform might be more future-proof in the long run. It's about balancing your current needs with your plans!
Yes , thank you very much . I have Ordered the MSi mobo and the 7 7500x3D with this cooler DeepCool AK400 Zero Dark Plus , I will just save more because I want to get a decent build when I upgrade to AM5 , I don't want to make the same mistake I made First .

I play Guild wars 2 which works with CPU more than GPU , but I will be looking for a USED card here . thank you very very much .
