Ok, so I was given this old PC for free, it has a gigabyte GA f2a88xn motherboard on it, 8gb of ram, no GPU, no HDD or SSD. I installed my 1050 on it and an old 500gb HDD with Windows 10 on it.

When I turned it on I was greeted by 3 rounds of 3 beeps each which (according to the manufacturer) means "Memory Error". However the computer turns on just fine and everything on it works, even the GPU.

Anyone has any idea of what could be happening here?

Verify ram type, ECC vs non-ECC etc.
Verify ram mounting slot, must use slot A before slot B etc, may have to consult the manual.
Download mem86 and test for a couple of hours.
From what I can tell it has non-ECC memory. It's a Crucial 8gb DDR3 stick that's installed on the first slot (DDR3_1). I don't have an USBdrive right now, but I'll buy one asap to try.
