Question Motherboard incompatibility with case wires?

Currently building a pc. I am using a Gigabyte Z390UD motherboard. My case is a NZXT h500. My question is: My wires for my front panel and HD audio for the front of the case audio and usb, do not fit onto the motherboard.

What I mean by this is it doesn't connect or align to my HD audio port nicely, (it fits but it is like 60 percent in). Same goes for my F-panel wire. I plugged it into my F-panel section which is colorful and on bottom of motherboard, however, that is very loose also. I am afraid I have these in wrong spots or I need another adapter for these wires.

I have turned on the computer just to see if it ran and it did, but still worried these connections are flimsy. My case came with extra wire connectors that seem to connect to my f-panel wire, should i be utilizing this?

Here are photos of my motherboard and what I am talking about. If anyone can help that would be great, this is my first pc build. Thank you.

It is possible there is a fault with the cables. Mistakes do happen. Although I have never found this problem myself. I currently have a 500i case and all plugs in fine.
Check the connectors and look into them, even push something like a needle into the connector socket from case and see the DEPTH of the hole. Maybe it's something to do with that, as to why it is not pushing on 100%.

First time building a pc and my motherboard a Gigabyte Z390UD does not seem to have a perfect fit to my F-panel and HD audio wires from my NZXT case. I have got my HD audio to plug in but it is only around 60% and loose. Same story for my f-panel wire. I plugged it into the bottom of my f-panel connectors on my motherborad but they are also very loose and it worries my I have these connected wrong. I do have a set of wires that look like it can connect to my f-panel and I don't know if I should use those instead? I have test turned my pc on to see if it ran and it did, so I am guessing the f-panel switch is working. Just here to double check, feel as if I am doing something wrong here.

Thank you in advance if anyone can help. I also wrote a post earlier and it seemed like it didn't go through? So I hope I am not posting more than one post.
