Motherboard really hard to fit in

hi guys

so basically when the I/O shield is installed the motherboard is a really tight fit to align the screws up with the risers. when i can eventuallly get a couple screws in i can see that the I/O shield is bulging slightly. The case is an Antec 1200 and the mobo is an Asus z77-v-pro. should it be this hard to install?

any help would be greatly appreciated

it should be easy to install

have you installed the stand offs that fit between the case and the mb ?
[ its possible the Antec 1200 doesnt use these but almost all cases do ]

Yeah it came with them preinstalled and it fits without the I/O shield but when the shield is installed the middle of it bulges a little bit when the motherboard is installed.
