Mouse Lagging on Mousing Over Things

Hello,

Over the past couple months I have started noticing that my mouse will sometimes slow down and lag while I hover over links or shortcuts or other things of that nature - basically anything that you can click on.

I have actually noticed this happening generally when I have either a video, stream, game or even music playing on Spotify.

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how I can fix it?

I am on Windows 10 64-bit. Graphic drivers are up-to-date.

Check any mouse configuration screens - look for some "mouse over" option kicking in....

Try "WIN" + "I" and check the Gaming options: may find some setting therein...

Run the built-in Windows 10 Troubleshooters.

Mouse drivers? Download and reinstall.
