Mouse move only up and down not left and right.

I have 2 months old mouse and it randomly stops going left and right i can move it up and down but not left and right. And after few seconds it gets back to normal.

That happens to me on occasion, I find removing the hair blocking the laser fixes it.

If you don't have a laser mouse, I would remove the ball, and clean the rollers, specifically the one for side scrolling.

I cleaned the laser so let's see if it's get better.

Replace battery cells. Worked for me.

Try delete drivers from other mice, worked for me
