Question Mousepad not working

So my laptops charging port broke, and in a fit of panic and stupidity, I did a DIY and took the back off and fixed it. I double and triple checked that everything was connected and where it should be. However, now my mousepad (built in) will not work. It does not even appear in Device Manager. What could be causing this?

I think you meant to say that the trackpad is not working(in your thread's title. You might want to go back and disassemble the entire laptop like before but this time, while reassembling the laptop you should make sure that all the (ribbon)cables are plugged in to the motherboard.

Where can I find the make and model? I also have no idea what a SKU is. Sorry, I'm not that brilliant with tech
