When I try to run the ms baseline security analyzer, it kicks out right away
with the following err msg:
-----------------------------
Can't resolve the computer name: \USER-D8[etc. snipped by me]. Please
specify computer name, domain\computer, or an IP address.
-----------------------------
So, I specified my systems name several different ways, all with the same
result, even whilst toggling on/off the firewall, closing down all other
apps, having verified my IP with ipconfig, etc.
Everything else works terrificaly, it's a brand new box with the OS (winxp
home) installed last Friday.
