Hi guys.

Have just build my first pc. Went to turn it on and nothing coming through to the TV via HDMI.

The fans are on and working but the motherboard also has red lights around it that are staying on

Anyone know what I can do?

If you are connecting your HDMI directly to the mother board and do not have an APU then that is your answer. Ryzen does not have built in graphics so you have to use a gpu and connect the HDMI from the tv directly to the gpu.

Ryzen 5 1600
ASUS GTX 1070 Gaming
MSI B350M
1TB Drive

Basically build it all plug it all in. Turn on pc and turns on fans are going red led around few of the motherboard and no signal through the msi hdmi to the tv.

Okay I have plugged the HDMI lead from TV into my GPU and still no signal ?

make sure your ram, gpu are seated properly and be sure the drive cables are connected at both the drive and the mother board, make sure the power cable from the psu to the graphics card is plugged in completely as well.

Yes they all seem to be push in correctly.

did you disconnect and reconnect everything, or did you look/wiggle them a bit? I ask because it does not take much to throw off a system. Also have you looked at the owners manual for your mother board to see what the red lights indicate?

I'm currently trying different things. I'm reading the manual but no help really.

My debug led light comes on when pc is powered on and the led stays on constantly but can't seem to find the meaning of it.

something I meant to ask you earlier. Are you seeing the MSI load screen for the mother board or is there nothing at all? Also do you have another monitor connected to the gpu and is the tv set to the proper input?
