Question MSI B550 A Pro no PSU fan

I recent upgraded to a 5800x3d from a 9600k since i could reuse my ram from my old system, i got a b550 board to go with it. Knowing i needed to flash the bios, i have tried 5-6 usb sticks but have had no luck. It flashes for a few seconds and then goes dark, it never gets to the fast flashing stage where it writes the BIOS.

Anyway, one question that i have is that when i try to turn on the system (even with the old motherboard) i feel like i should expect something to happen, there are no LEDs, and the power supply fan doesnt even turn on when i press the power button. Power is getting to the board because the BIOS flash button still flashes when i press the button.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Since you performed an upgrade(of sorts) we should be seeing two sets of specs, one for before and one for after.

As for your BIOS flash path;
are you following through steps outlined in page 46 of the manual linked above? With the latest BIOS sourced off of this support page;
?

Your flash drive should be formatted to FAT32 mind you, with the BIOS file being in the root directory.

I made sure that the drives were in FAT32 i also tested exFAT and NTFS on all the drives and of course they didnt work.

As for the power supply, i have a corsair TX650M which is really old at this point however, it works with the other motherboard without issue.
