MSI gtx 560 ti hawk or gtx 550 ti superclocked?

Which card would be stronger and faster?

MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk Geforce GTX 560 Ti 1GB GDDR5

Or

EVGA GTX 550 Ti SuperClocked?



Just wanna know between these two becausd i plan on upgrading mine soon and choosing betseen these 2 cards.

560 Ti Hawk Great card OCs like a beast and its cool and quiet to.

Gtx 560 Ti outperforms 550 Ti easily by a large margin.

But as this are old gen card what is your budget ?

Maybe we can recommend you something else. !

Its for my brothers pc, he has a 500W PSU and a FX-4100 CPU.

I am willing to upgrade the psu if necessary.

Well that is a crappy PSU. I strongly suggest to replace it !!!

560 Ti needs ~200W on peak so a good 550 will do the job.

I suggest XFX 550 W Pro Core Edition @ncix for onlt 54$ .

Alright cool thanks man, And I just checked, the 550ti super clock has a higher memory clock than the twin frozr 560. How come the 560 is still better?

Well its not all about that.

560 ti has more cuda cores and its 256 bit unlike the 192 bit 550 TI .
