Hello

So i've been wondering that is it possible to flash MSI gtx 560 ti twin frozr II OC with this bios:

http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/100512/MSI.GTX560Ti.1024.110315.html

This card has stock core 880 mhz and that bios seems to have 950 mhz. The device id is a match, but the subsystem id differs. This cards subsystem id is 1462 2382 and that another one has 1462 2600.

So my question is would it be safe/possible to flash it? Or has anyone dared to try? I have a feeling that, that bios is for GTX 560 ti hawk(?).

My current bios is this: http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/102531/MSI.GTX560Ti.1024.110518.html

Yes, i have tried, but i cannot get it stable for some reason. Atleast not to 950, i've tried rising core voltage to 1025 mV and it crashes during kombustor. In fact i cant even get stable 920.

Looks that the issue with OC was driver based. I just got rid of betas and reverted to 285.62, cranked voltage to 1036, (which i had previously tried too) and i did Xtreme dx11 burn for 10 minutes without any problems.

That card will do 1075v 950/1900/2100 easy....using MSI Afterburner. A lot of people got to those speeds by not even adjusting the voltage but as for me it would not run stable at 1000v or 1037v. Just make sure you have a well ventilated case so your temps won't go too high. I'm using Antec 900 case and my temps have never gone above 63c after playing for over 3hrs.

I am currently running mine 1000/2000/2100 1100v. This card was built for oc'ing so dont' be afraid to push it. The performance gain from higher speeds is definitely worth it....getting around a 10% performance increase in BF3 with the 1000mhz settings.
