Anyone owning this MOBO?In my country its the cheapest x570 mobo i can find so i was wondering if its good for a 3600.
Its more than enough for 3600. Even a b450 tomahawk would be good pair for 3600.
The MSI B450 tomahawk motherboard has a "Bios Flashback" feature enabling the BIOS to be updated for 3rd generation support without a compatable 1k or 2k series processor.that is true it would be but if he does not have a 1st or 2nd gen ryzen then he would not be able to update the bios to be able to use the 3000 series..

These are common issues with all the previous gen motherboards not just MSI. If you go and add voltage changing cpu values etc you probably will end with no posting and you have to clear cmos. If you just enable your xmp profile (i was able to overclock the memory even higher) and leave everything stock you will totally have no problem. The problem isn't the BIOS flashback, but that the currently-available BIOS doesn't work reliably. Some people have no problem at all, while others can't get a stable system (or even successfully POST) no matter what they do. MSI will eventually solve the problem, either with a stable BIOS or the MAX version that's supposed to run the 3000 out of the box. But the MAX isn't available in the United States, and there still isn't a stable BIOS for the older version.
There are issues with x570 too. its across the board.
