Alright so I’ve recently built a pc and when I got everything together everything worked great has been for a month and a half. I updated the bios a week or so after I put it together all is fine. But today I looked and see msi had new bios out so I wanted to get it and install it thinking it might be better knowing I have a pretty new chip 9800x3d I know they just came out. So I decided I’d try to update the bios to the newest version and I did everything I thought was to be correct and it looks like it has failed. I left the PC going for 3 hours the first time and it did absolutely nothing and currently will not post. I have 2 lights on the motherboard that are solid lights a red cpu light and a green dram light. I’m not sure where do go from here. Do I keep trying to troubleshoot or is the board bricked?

CPU 9800x3d
Mobo MSI x670e tomahawk WiFi
Ram G.SKILL 32G 2X D5 6000 C36 FX B
Gpu asus prime 4070ti super
Ssd crucial 500gb crucial p3 2tb
Psu 750 Corsair* 2017 ish.
Windows 11

*unsure of model number can provide later.

Have you tried clearing the CMOS on the board? Ideally you disconnect from the wall and display, then remove the CMOS battery, then press and hold down the power button for 30secs to drain any residual power, then replace the CMOS battery after 30mins.

Try this guide out;

Different board and chipset but the principle remains the same.

You might want to list the rest of your specs to the build;
CPU cooler:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model.
