is this board compatible with 11700k ? will it boot up? or i need to update bios first with 10 gen cpu?

You will need to go to the board manf website and look for a bios update and information. The socket is both 1200, but they won't always update the bios for you. (they have to make money)

What chip are you running now? The 10850k is cheaper than the 11700k and is a great chip and will run on your current board.

You're kind of in "No Man's Land" here.

The CPU Support List doesn't show the 11th gen processors, but the BIOS Update description for 7C75vA6 specifically states:

BIOS updated to be compatible with 11th Gen Intel Processors

This BIOS version was released in Feb 2021.
