Hi there, 3y ago I've bought an Asus strix rog g15 512lv. The specs are intel i7-10870H, rtx 2060 6gb, 16gb ram, 3 ssd s nvme ( 1TB + 512x2 ).

For almost a year, the laptop ran games without problems untill1 day where i had some display problems then mb. I got it to service where i had the warranty and they "fixed" it.

From that day the laptop had multiple BSOD in windows while in idle. I couldn't get it back to warranty because i needed it for some time. Well that time was gone but still didn't got it to warranty to fix it. The problem with BSOD was gone in the moment that i could start a video game. It could run that game even for 2 or 3 days straight.

The bsod errors was "whea_uncorrectable_error", "irql_not_less_or_equal" and 2 more i canr remember ( if i do i ll post em ). Today i left the laptop in "idle", didn't had a game to.rum but had 4-5 apps to run.

After i came back the laptop was turned off. I tried to turn it on but was keep showing the asus logo.animation on and on and on. After a restart the laptop was shutting off and.on with the asus logo animation. After some playing with the laptop s components, trying to figure out which one is faulty ( ram, ssd, battery, charging brick ) the laptop could load the bsods above.

The moment asus logo animation disappears i get one of these 3-4 bsods. I ve disassembled it trying again with ssds rams to see if something was wrong.with them, but i had same problem. I discovered that the laptop now suddenly runs over 65 70 degrees ( paste checked, still liquid ) in bios ( in bios works just fine btw, no crashes or.restarts or whatsoever ).

Just wondering if u guys have any idea what could i do,.what s causing it to get bsod instantly.the moment it gets out of bios.

If it bsod still after they fixed it, 2 thoughts:
1. they didn't fix it
2. Are you plugging in anything at home as it could be cause?

whea_uncorrectable_error"
WHEA = Windows Hardware Error Architecture.
Its an error called by the CPU but not necessarily caused by it.
It can be any hardware and sometimes software - given yours BSOD at boot I suspect its hardware
irql_not_less_or_equal
less obvious, can be hardware or drivers.

not being able to get into windows makes working out cause difficult

since you can get to BIOS, we can at least check the ram
Try running memtest86 on each of your ram sticks, one stick at a time, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the BSOD. Remove/replace ram sticks with errors.
Memtest is created as a bootable USB so that you don’t need windows to run it
