Hello! I have recently gotten a WD Blue 2TB M.2 SATA SSD, and I installed it alongside my other 2 ssds that I had before. I changed the configuration of my regular ssds to the slots that the manual said would work alongside a M.2 drive.
After installing this and allocating memory everything worked fine. And then I noticed other problems.
For example my headphone slot (both back and front) are not working, I've tried it with multiple headphones/ earphones and they start emitted a buzzing sound and when I went to Device Manager it shows that that when they are in the headphone slot it comes up as a microphone and when they are in the mic slot they're down as headphones (but unfortunately don't work, as they're in the mic slot).
Another problem is that my internet is working perfectly fine on every other device except my pc since I plugged in the m.2 drive, and normally I would put this down to the ethernet lead or something, but it is connecting to the internet through either my ethernet or my PCIE Wifi card, but has extremely slow speeds (1kb per second or lower), while the internet is fine for everything else.
On the motherboard itself all 4 lights appear, one at a time on boot up; the CPU/DRAM/VGA/BOOT Status LEDs. Sometimes it's some of them, other times it's all of them.
I've checked all the connections on the board and everything seems secure and clean, I've reinstalled the m.2 drive (it is in the m.2 A socket), and yet these problems are still here.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
