Hi! This is my first post on here, and I'd like to thank everyone who takes the time to review and give advice on stuff like this. I'm going to be building a PC in the next few months strictly for music production (maybe some StarCraft here and there), so I need the absolute minimum lag/latency (not sure what the proper term is here); I'll be using PreSonus's Studio One Professional DAW; also, I'm considering buying (in the semi-distant future) SSL's MadiXtreme 64 PCIe card, so that is something to keep in mind. I want this to be a future proof setup to last me a very long time and tried to do as much research as I could fathom to reach this Newegg wish list:
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V

Disc Drive: ASUS DRW-24B1ST

PSU: Sea Sonic M12II Bronze 620W

Monitor: ASUS VG248QE 24"

I'm mostly wondering about compatibility issues, will all of this be able to work together? I'm not sure if there's any overkill, but I would certainly rather have too much than too little. I won't be overclocking or anything like that, and plan on running Windows 8 64-bit. Is this everything I need to be up and running? My budget is ballpark of what these items come to, however I'm willing to extend it slightly if need be. I really appreciate any comments/suggestions etc.
Thanks!
Chris
