Question my 165hz monitor can only be set at 75hz

i just got a pc, i have a 4060 with a i5 13400F, for my monitor i have a HP omen 27 165hz, when i go to display settings to set my monitor to 165hz the highest option i can use is 75hz, same thing when i go to the nvidia control panel, i thought it was the cable since i was using a hdmi but now i have a displayport and i still get the same issue i dont know what to do.

you should hook your panel up tot he Display Port on your GPU and monitor to get 165Hz. What

i’ve tried putting the cable on every single spot i could, same with the displayport and nothing
