Yeah Point made can’t breach 7000 with a stock GF3.
I just took my 1.7 to 2040
VisionTek to 230/490 and scored 7490
With no Locks no hangs stable as hell

But hey some dude on Mad Onion is busting 8300 and 70% of the top spots are OC’ed AMD’s.

But the tippity top spot is an Intel Chip

You already know a overclocked 1.8+Ghz P4 with Geforce 3 overclocked can hit those numbers. whats to prove?

You said you did not overclock your card, troll, I called you out for being the retarded liar you are.(next time make it believeable) AND I STILL WANT SOME LINKS, because as I said you ignorant moron, even overclocked a videocard on p4 at 1.8 is very difficult to get to 7500, and I want proof that you actually have this.

So to sum it up.

A: you lied in your origional claim, and you can kiss my behind before I apologize for that.
B: you have yet to actually PROVE your claim at all, so blow me.
C: untill you post the afformentioned proof, I, as well as everyone else here, will consider this matter closed and your posistion as weak as you are.

in addition to being a troll you are also a moron, 6400 in 3dmark 2001 is about as far from being a sucky score as you are from having an actual brain.

Now link to your results or be branded a loser, even more so than you are, who fakes benchmarks when his precious p4 cant even haul its own weight in a pro intel benchmark suite.

I do not know that dumbass, see solstices post, he had to take his p4 to almost 2100 and a mad videocard overclock to breach 7500, I call you a liar, I do not believe you when you say you took a 1.5ghz p4 @ 1.8ghz(as you claimed) with a stock gf3 to 7500, you are a fraud loser.

And furthermore, I dont think you could get 7500 with the amove mentioned setup AND an overclocked gf3 either, unless you pelt your gf, you are again a liar.

I hope you'r all so very happy with your 6 or 7000+ 3D Marks. However, I fail to see the point. I've got a dirt cheap Duron 600@933 with a cheapo Geforce MX. 256 Mb RAM, 2x7200rpm RAID 0 and a lovely 19" Sony tube.

Guess what ? Not one recent game wont run really fluid on this machine. I play Tribes 2, Max Payne, Operation Flashpoint, Black & White etc all at 1024 32 Bit.. no problemo. They all look wonderfull, and I experience no noticable slowdowns. Sometimes I need to turn down some options settings, however, I have yet to see the difference. Win2K works like a breeze, its more than apropriate for my occasional Photoshop use, and God only know why office, internet or whatever other current apps would need anything faster.

Unless you do divx or 3D rendering for a living, I suggest you spend your money on something more usefull (take a holiday, buy your wife a nice ring, take her out for dinner,.. buy your kids somehting new, whatever). Fugger, did you tell her you just spend $1000 bucks for a few 3D Marks extra ? (that wont change a thing about your gaming experience)

Also, spend some time away from this forum... find yourself some friends and get a life.

A couple things

1. What I do I do as a hobby and enjoy having the best that money can buy and tweaking it to perform the best I can.
The only thing I won't do is go beyond air cooling.

2. Fugger your just a moron who got caught lying, I seriously think you have a PII 450 and your bitter because you can't afford any better.

3. Fugger, Some advice next time you want to lie about your rig or its performance do keep in mind there are other people out there with the same Hardware as you, who know what it can and cannot do.

4. I could probably get 8000 out of my rig but with the cooling I have I would be lucky to have it make it through the benchmark.

And last but not least no matter how hard you try there is always someone out there with more money and a better rig than you.

Sealed motherboard w/refridgeration cooling to all components, zero condensation. (searched this forum 15 mins for my post on my cooling setup. did not find post/link. grizely1 prob remembers)
All PCI devices removed, all non used subsystems disabled (com ports, LPT, IDE 2, ...)
AGP set to USWC
AGP apature size 256MB (some AMD has problem with this)
Dropped from 512 to 256MB RAM
PCI latency timer changed from 32 to 16

Scored 7550 @ default (all tests selected for demo version)


I agree totally with bbaeyans! Get a life buddy!
 
How did u set ur apature size to 256MB and also run the same amount for other functions???????

Welp, 7500 is too easy. need to do some tweaks to break 8k easy too =) I see where 9k is possible at lower resolutions.

Everyone is so cruel. I am sure Fugger will have a new username in no time.

I got this with an AMD Athlon at 1007 Mhz and Nvidia GeForce 2 MX. No funny stuff like disabling com ports, changing AGP aperature or reducing memory.

First score was about 2000. Then the next score was 3200 and finally about 3700. All done by switching to DDR ram and upgrading AGP drivers and Nvidia drivers if you can believe it.

Cant we all just get along? Actually, its been quite an interesting read. Its kinda sad that someone would make up scores and such just to get attention. Poor, poor soul.
