Hey Fugger, im not totally up to speed on p4 overclocking, but can you explain how you got a 1.5ghz p4(which you said is your chip) running at 2160mhz with a fsb of 120.........did you buy a new p4 for this thread? LOL

Multiplier is 18, fugger....you went out and bought a 1.8ghz p4 didnt you, LOL. LOL.

You know the right video card can do it, DJ and macci both have very very select video cards that are capable of extreme overclocking. macci used the same video card in both AMD and Intel machines. and scored close to the same score other than the Intel winning by small margin. They are running windows 98 and 10.70/12.90 drivers and I am not.

My old video card had a defect in the manufaturing, where the HSF was over 1mm from the core. not my fault nor my cooling.

Im finding out clock speeds really do not add much, its more in the overclock of the video card itself. whine about my clock speed some more, it gives me pleasure =)

I have a 2Ghz P4 too, it doesnt OC very well 115FSB, sure its a decent speed but FSB gets more 3Dmark score than pure Mhz. even at 1875Mhz, I was able to hit same score with better video card. one I have now sucks IMO for overclocking.

Did I mention top 1% of all scores. sorry im on page 2, but ill fix that soon.

I do not have hours on end to plug away at a benchmark score, since it does not add inches to my dick. so it will take me a few days to obtain another HD to load win98 and get setup again to run benchmarks to get to page 1.

Whats your guess on the increase in score from 10.70 and win98? a few hundred points?

Why is it that it took Fugger 3 weeks to post his REAL scores? Considering it's not that hard to run a benchmark right then and there. If his claims were true in the first place, he could've posted within a week.

First he had to goto Hawaii (lol), then his video card overheated, then he had to get a new email address, and after 3 weeks of delaying he finally posts a score which is actually lower this his claims. How many excuses can you make?

It looks like stalling so he could tweak it enough to actually meet his boast. Which he didn't even achieve when it was finally said and done.

What now Fugger? Going to insult everyone, because you couldn't back up your claims for which they are you calling you on it? Go ahead if it helps your ego.

It would've been interesting to see those scores achieved, but instead you decided to use those imaginary numbers and insult others. Hope you feel better about yourself.

Also i'm guessing your not looking at the Radeon 8500. You know nvidia and AMD are buddies now. Why not get a nforce since you like Nvidia so much. Well ATi has signed agreements to share technology's with intel. Well go back to you geforce 3 and go get athlon 1.4

I dare Fugger to reply to my post. I slammed him badly. Well i guess fugger is looking for a Athlon 4 + Nforce for his Geforce 3 since he likes nvidia and there buddies amd too much. Well i have a dual P3's and ATi Radeon 32mb and im happy but fugger will like his Geforce3 and his next AMD product since the Nforce comes nvidia will make sure the Athlon 4 get much better support then the Pentium 4 in future DET drivers.

Matisaro basically laid out the facts. You claimed you could reach ~7500 without OC'ing your GF3, and guess what--you couldn't. That was the whole core of everyone's objection. Plain and simple--you lied, and you got caught. Whoops!

I see only one guy who might be dumb enough to side with you, and that's AmdMeltdown. Oh, and maybe juin, since he might not understand English well enough to see the whole point of the argument. Everyone else--even the Intel fans--are probably laughing their asses off at you.

Remember fugger has a nvidia card. He is turning into an AMD soon. Nforce is a must have for nvidia users. Well i see ATi P4 chipsets coming no nvidia P4 chipsets just nvidia Athlon chipsets. Well i guess i know what side fugger is on "the amd side". Get an ATi Radeon 8500 then you can be a true intel user again.

Unlike you I have a job, a family, 2 kids and zero spare time. running benchmarks sure seems like allot of fun to you but bores the hell out of me. it takes more than you think to get scores above 7k, not just firing up 3Dmark and clicking start (go ahead and post a score above mine). I pulled a great score with stock drivers and less than optimal video card.

I have been very busy lately with training and installs across the country, sorry I cannot tailor my schedule for your viewing pleasure.

I am in the office today and gone again part of next week, so next week you can whine some more in my absense.

What did I do in DC other than visit K street? (just kidding about K street) we had a meeting with the genome institute "tigr", and celerbrated the first complete genome mapping of a mouse. sure its just a mouse but allot of the data will produce cures for many diseases and birth defects.

Hawaii was nice, stayed on the big island, visited the volcano, went on a charter boat, a helicopter ride, and kicked back on the beach.

A few days in St. Petersburg Florida and El segundo CA makes for a very busy schedule.
