[SOLVED] My Chrome is a bit laggy

960 Pro nvme
Cpu is watercooled, under 30C idle under 45C load.

laggy? on screen or slow internet?

have you run live update on the strix motherboard to see if you have latest drivers? I believe live update is part of AI Suite.

do you have newest GPU drivers?

Yes every driver is up to date and no its not the internet, internet speed is fine. This happens mostly when switch between tabs (usually i have between 20-40 tabs open) and in facebook when i try to open up a chat even if facebook is the only tab open. I had a 5930K before i bought the 1700x, am doing the same work as before but i didnt have any problems with the 5930k

can't say i seen chrome us 4.7gb of memory before. I wonder how much is page file usage, with 8g of ram it shouldn't be much. WIndows only uses page file if it really needs to.
