My Corsair RAM not in the shops anymore - how to extend ?

I have Corsair XMS3 3x2gb Kit DDR3-1600 C7 (TR3X6G1600C7) RAM and now I want to extend RAM by adding another 3x2gb.

However, I cannot find exactly this model TR3X6G1600C7, but rather newer models.

Is it safe to extend this setting with such slightly different RAM? Which Corsair RAM should I select then?

Post your question on the offical Corsair forum. I'm sure an admin can tell you what model to use instead.

It's likely that a newer model of the exact same RAM is out and just has a different model number and different price but that the new RAM is compatible with your old RAM. Ask the admin's at Corsair to know for sure. If you don't get an admin response call them and pose your question to them.
