Question My cpu overheats while gaming

My cpu only overheats when gaming, it reachs 97° running at only 60% but when i run the stress test it only goes up to 75° and its running at 100%, i can leave it running the stress tes for hours and it doesnt go past 75° but when i play games for only 5 minutes it goes up to 95° even 99°. I7 3770

So for starters, I would check for viruses. Try Malwarebytes or something like that. if that doesn't help I suggest upgrading your cooler or at least cleaning out all the dust and reapplying thermal paste.

That's an old architecture processor
But it's still below 100°C
