Question My desktop PC worked perfectly fine when I went to sleep. Trying to turn it on today it just won't boot.

So I have disconnected everything but the power supply to try to breathe some life into it. Lights on the motherboard and GPU light up. But whenever I try to boot the PC. From the boot button on the motherboard or the one on the case nothing happens. No response like it is not even trying to boot up. I have also tried different power outlets I know work. But since the lights on the motherboard light up I doubt it's the cable or outlet.
Must it be the power supply or could it be something else?

Sounds like your board has served you well and has bowed out. The only thing I can add is to remove the motherboard battery to see if it makes any difference.
