My Documents - partition

Hello, I have read where ppl suggest "moving" My Documents (c:\user\Mark\My Docuents to a seperate partiion. How do you do this? Do they mean Create the new folder?

In Vista, My Documents is a pointer to Documents so you want to move Documents.
Right-click Documents, Location, Move.
Redirect a folder to a new location
