Hey, I have been hunting for parts to get a good configuration and have finally narrowed down to this, am building this exclusively for gaming and might be overclocking in the future, so please share your opinion on this spec..

Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-750 Processor (2.66GHz, turbo up to 3.2GHz, 1333MHz FSB, 8MB Cache)

Motherboard chipset: H57

RAM: 4GB (2X2GB) DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz Memory

Hard-Drive: 500GB SATA 3.0Gb/s 7200 RPM 16MB Cache Hard Drive

GPU: GeForce 9800GT Graphics Card 512mb

Also recommend on a good heat sink for this setup.

I am sorry about that, i will follow the question format next time.......
Can you recommend a GPU for my rig which would let me play games like crysis and fallout 3 with high settings

am willing to spend upto 1200$ for my rig....

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: by next week

BUDGET RANGE: 1000-1200$

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: gaming, watching movies

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: -------------

PARTS PREFERENCES: the ones I mentioned in the original post

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080

The only reason I would be opting for an p55 would be if I were to CF/SLI, which I dont think I would, so h57 is a better choice for me.

Yes the HD 5770 is a very good card, but I would actually recommend you get something a bit more powerful since you will be gaming at higher resolutions. Maybe a GTX 460 1GB or a GTX 465 or maybe a HD 5850, they are all good cards and will play games well

H57 board choices are limited and not a good deal. The Asus board is very expensive. The Gigabyte board is cheap but lacks features. The MSI board lacks even more features and don't get me started on Intel.

So you need everything? Monitor too?
