Question My FPS in Siege is Capped at 60

I stopped playing rainbow six siege for a little while and recently got back on. In the past, my game was always running at the fps it was supposed to. Now, it is capped at 60 consistently. I have tried quite a few things and I am not very tech savvy. So any recommendations to fix this issue, please explain in dump people terms. My monitor is a 165hz and the refresh rate is at 165.

What have you tried prior to creating this thread? it's so that we're not repeating steps you've taken that has been unfruitful at solving the issue.

As for your specs, please list them like so:

PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Does this issue crop up on other titles as well?
