when i try to play some games , rainbow six siege, Arma 3 or TF2, they all crash with in 10 minutes. i have already tried restarting my PC and have been monitoring my temps when the crash occurs and the CPU temps never go past like 62 C. the CPU does max out it's clock speed when the crash occurs. I don't understand why this happening and can't find any solutions.

Build
CPU: Ryzen 2700x (no overclock)
GPU: RTX 2070
Memory: 2x8GB 3400 MHz
Motherboard: MSI PERFORMANCE GAMING X470 GAMING PLUS MAX
storage: 1TB SDD

Solution
here the results from userbenchmark
UserBenchmarks: Game 98%, Desk 90%, Work 89%
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X - 88%
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2070 - 104.3%
SSD: WDC WDS100T2B0A-00SM50 1TB - 105.7%
HDD: WD Blue 2TB (2015) - 71.4%
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3600 C18 2x8GB - 105.5%
MBD: MSI X470 GAMING PLUS MAX (MS-7B79)

Give me the link of your result instead of the stats. I want to see that page and test the RAM at 2933MHz or 3200MHz.
Pretty good PSU and totally overkill with that 1000Watts. So let's put the PSU on the side for the moment.

You're saying that it's not overheating.

Go in your BIOS and check the speed of your RAM. Test for RAM instability issues. Reduce your RAM speed to 2933 or 3200MHz and see if your crashing issue stop.

Thank you so much, game seems to be running fine now. do you know why this is a thing, like why can't i run my ram at faster speeds, if it is rated for 3600 why does it need to be lower? (noob question i know)

It's all about the CPU, RAM and Motherboard. Your CPU is rated for a guaranteed to work memory speed of 2933MHz. They can be pushed higher but it depends on a few variables.

Zen CPU like the 1700X - 2667MHz guaranteed to work.
Zen+ CPU like what you have - 2933MHz guaranteed to work.
Zen 2 CPU like the 3700X - 3200MHz guaranteed to work.

The sweet spot for your CPU is 3200Mhz and the sweet spot for the Zen 2 CPU is 3600MHz.

Try 3200MHz now. Which should be fine. If it's not return to 2933MHz.
