My geforce whistles a tune??

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out if I have a slightly defective
geforce1 or if the coming and going whistling sounds
are what I should expect from it. I have an asus v6800dlx
Has anyone else encountered this?

When does it whistle, i mean is it games or are you talking about a screen defect. Or is it simply the fan. If its the fan it may be touching another wire, try pinning them back. Or is this a big joke?? Maybe your souncard has started to die is the other option

Some good points to check for. Its not only in games.
After boot it goes fine for a few hours but then the whistling starts. Its in games, in office aps, sitting idle while I'm trying to sleep...arrrggghhh!!!
I'll take a look inside and check the wires.

I doubt its my soundcard. The issue started right after I
installed the new geforce but anything is possible. Definitely not a joke either.
