Hello, tom's hardware community! I have a problem with my GPU from a laptop that I recently bought. The laptop is the Acer Nitro AN515-58 with intel i5 12450h and rtx 3050. Everything I found on the internet wound't help on get to work this GPU. Nvidia drivers are up to date 546.33, Windows 10 22H2, bios almost updated 2.09 version and still nothing. On the Acer community told me to choose it from Nitro sense but it doesn't show up or in the bios to change from onboard to dedicated but mine it it won't show even on the bios...something is fishy. Can you help me find out how to get the gpu work on this laptop?

So the laptop does work and will boot into the OS - correct?

And you can get into BIOS as well?

The specific problem being that the laptop just does not play/run games - is that correct?

What games? What source for the games?

= = = =

Where did you buy the laptop?

Any warranty?

and to add to Ralston's questions.... how are you determining the GPU isn't being used?
Your post isn't particularly clear - but I assume you've concluded the iGP of the i5 is being used and not the 3050?

Are you connected to wall power? Or running on battery?
