This may be a faulty card, but my Powercolor HD 6950 2gig shows banding when shader 3.0 is enabled. Ok with Shader 2.0. This issue did not show on the previous card I was replacing: a 9800 GX2 card.
The bands appear as stripes so that everthing is rendered, but the polygon edges are not blended so that the joins show as there is a brightness shift between edges.
Anyone know of such an issue before?
