This might seem like a weird question, but it's entirely relevant as some over ear headphones simply aren't a good choice for some users with larger heads or really big ears as one set of cans may not be as accommodating as another set. In which case it's prudent to ask if you tend to have a larger or smaller head/ears etc?
If you don't have a large-ish type head or ears then you might want to take a look at the Sennheiser HD 450BT headphones. I have these, and love them. Especially for the price. Very hard to find headphones with really good sound, which these have, AND active noise cancelling, for this price.
The Sennheiser HD 450BT noise canceling headphones seem like a great bang for your buck, but there are a few drawbacks to keep in mind.

I did a lot of research before buying these a couple of years ago and I feel like I picked the right ones. They have also held up very well.
