[SOLVED] My laptop cpu overheats up to 96 celsius while gaming causing fps drop ?

My laptop : HP Pavilion Notebook - 17-f208nx ( Energy star ) I have it since 6 years

My laptop specs :
Cpu : intel i7 5500U
Gpu : nvidida gt 840m 4gb
Ram :8gb

When the issue started i went to someone who cleaned the laptop fans and changed thermal paste
after that performance improved in games for about 3 weeks
then performance dropped again and temp increased again

So i decreased maximal processor state in power options to 98 % this made temp max at 85 celsisus but games having same fps drops even at league of legends which is low requirement game at high preset fluctuates between 60-40 fps in fights

So i think in conlcusion i need 100% maximal proceessor state to run games like overwatch at low preset with 60 fps whilst having the downside of getting 96 celsisu which will destroy my cpu sooner or later

I tried undervolting up too 0.080 mV but still at 100% max processor state temp. is around 95 degrees celsisus

N.B : Cpu temp suddenly disappeared from hw monitor and speccy i can only monitor it from Intel extreme tuning utility
so is it a cooling issue or cpu has aged and needs upgrading

Thanks in advance..

Solution
processor is solder FCBGA cant replace and there is no need. You might of lost temperature sensor somewhere.

high cpu temperature also weakens up the gpu cooling since thye share same heatsink.

The fix would be to disassembly and replace thermal paste with "thermal krizzly kryonaut" non conductive paste.
Get some 90%+ isoprophyl alcohol for cleaning. Dont use anything metallic for disassemblyinng only plastic like cards etc. First thing to do is to remove power cable and disconnect internal battery (or battery connector from motherboard if its not removable straight away) after that your safe, you can find helpful videos on youtube.

I'm a novice in these tech stuff so i can tell the technician in my nearby computer shop to do it for me '
but as I told you he has just changed the thermal paste for me 3 weeks ago
maybe as you say he has used a cheap thermal paste or he hadn't cleaned well
Thx alot

Edit : Thx man i gave it to another computer shop he changed thermal paste and now its only maxing up to 86-87 celsuis on 100 % max processor state
i will buy a coolin pad also to make it cooler and thanks alot
i also undervolted to -0.090 mV
