Looks like it does DP over USB so that'd mean an adapter to go from USB-C to HDMI, but I think this would be doable.
my laptop doesn't have a display port. There are many types of laptop specs in this page (https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_6302265-6302374-16), the spec sheet shows the specs of all the processor types (i7p and i5u types), mine is i5p, which has basic iris graphics and no display port. May be for the i7 laptop of the same series as mine has it.Can’t believe I missed this, but the spec sheet you linked to says the laptop has DisplayPort 1.4. Is that correct?

And exactly in my laptop's spec page (when searched with my laptop serial number) showed that my laptop has 2.1 HDMI, and no display port. Can’t believe I missed this, but the spec sheet you linked to says the laptop has DisplayPort 1.4. Is that correct?
Now, the monitor you have, is 3440x1440 (ultrawide 2K) and 100Hz. There is clearly the exact option for it.3440 x 1440 (60p Hz)
3440 x 1440 (1 oop Hz)
3840 x 2160 (60p Hz, 4K)
Your laptop does have DP 1.4 port, but not dedicated one, but instead combined inside USB type-C port; And exactly in my laptop's spec page (when searched with my laptop serial number) showed that my laptop has 2.1 HDMI, and no display port.
To use DP 1.4, you need USB type-C to DP adapter cable. E.g this one,(1) USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port; 10 Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep & Charge)
