Its a Samsung Sync-master. It just went to sleep and would not wake up. The computer does not recognize it. It does power on and if the cable isn't connected it displays that it has no connection. It also flashes digital/Analog as it does if you disconnected. The buttons on the side. The menu does not display but some other buttons do work. Pretty much everything is fine except the PC dont recognize it and the menu is not displaying. I'm stumped.

Did you unplug the monitor from the wall and plug it back in? I have a monitor that will sometimes have issues and I just need to unplug it and plug it back in and it will get where it needs to go.

Is it the correct cable? If so, try a different cable as it may be damaged.
As for the menu it could be an OSD (On Screen Display) lock. Find the menu button and press and hold it for ten seconds, that should unlock it.

Yes buffsalmon3300 it is the correct cable. Also holding down that button does nothing if held down.
