Discussion My Mouse starts acting up with double clicks in a year or so. i burn through a mouse in a year approx. Any suggestions

I have used a logitech g300 , g300x, razer deathadder, deathadder v2 chroma, logitech G102, g102 lightsync. over the course of last 10 years. I play Dota 2 a lot (7000 Hrs on steam) and being a an RTS game, the whole game is about clicking everywhere and everything. My each mouse runs 1.5 years on an avg, but recently the timespan has been going lower to 1 year. I know i can rma it but thats a hassle compared to buying a new one. Does anyone know of a solid reliable mouse that does not start failing in clicks so soon. I try not to spend too much on mouse as even after using deathadder , it didnt show any additional life expectancy. Plus warranty was extremely full of hassles for brands other than logitech in my Country i.e. india.
Or should i start opening my mouse up and start trying to clean the omron switches itself inside?

If your problem is with faults developing with the switches then I’d look into mice using optical switches. I haven’t used one myself but this seems to be the type of issue they aim to eliminate.
